Nueva victoria del Specialized Sub 23

2014-08-16 16.54.38Juan Antonio López Cózar se anotó el sábado su segunda victoria del año en la prueba de Carcabuey, en la que consiguió imponer su punta de velocidad en el grupo de seis corredores que llegaron escapados.

López Cózar contó en esta prueba andaluza con el apoyo de cuatro corredores, David Casillas, David Calmaestra, Elías Ortiz y Miguel Ángel Aguilera, ya que el grueso del equipo Specialized, a las órdenes de Rafa Díaz Justo disputó el II Criterium de Verano de Euskadi. En esta prueba, una challenge de 3 días, se reunió lo mejor de la categoría sub 23 tanto de Euskadi como del resto del país, lo que produjo una carrera muy competida y de un altísimo nivel. Enric Mas fue el mejor corredor del Specialized-Fundación Alberto Contador, clasificándose quinto en la general final.

La primera etapa se resolvió al sprint, mientras que la segunda fue la que marcó el destino de la general final, al llegar una fuga de nueve corredores entre los cuales Enric Mas terminó sexto del día.
