Fernando Barceló finished to one step in the Climb to Gorla

The RH+/Polartec U-23 finished to one step from the top of the podium in the Subida a Gorla, as Fernando Barceló could only be second in the finish line behind Sergio Samitier, who surprised him in the last meters of the race.

After the Aragonese came fourth Diego Noriega, who also made a great race, culminating the work of the whole team, who was protagonist throughout the event, to control the breakaways and, above all, hardening the pace for doing the big selection in the bunch.

To the final stretch came a select group where again the RH+/Polartec, with Sevilla and Cantoni, hardened the pace until the final climb to Gorla, where Noriega’s attack could only be answered who was finally the winner. Behind, the alternatives made that the two in front were hunted, and in the last 500 meters, the victory was resolved in favor of Samitier.

On Monday, the same team will complete the weekend with the Grand Prix Spring Ontur, in Albacete, over 155 kilometers.
